Katie Bridges is a communications and alumni coordinator at The Institute of World Politics. Previously, she worked at the Diana Davis Spencer Foundation, Family Research Council, and Kumon Learning Centers. She has completed internships at Philanthropy Roundtable, the Heritage Foundation, and the Ethics and Public Policy Center.
Katie has a B.A. in Politics from University of Dallas, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She currently serves on the board of the Miss District of Columbia Organization and chairs the finance and development committee for the Alumnae Association board for her alma mater, Oakcrest School. In her free time, she teaches fourth grade Sunday school and plays soccer. She lives with her husband David in Washington, D.C.
