Can I designate my gift to a specific program or scholarship at IWP?
You can support any area of the school that you desire. If you give online, please designate in the "Comments" area what program you would like to support. When paying by check, please specify in the memo line. Your generosity is greatly appreciated; however, please consider making the Annual Fund your top annual giving priority.

Does my single gift really make a difference?
Yes, any gift, regardless of the size, makes a difference to the educational experience of our students. The cumulative power of many gifts adds up, and is mostly used to provide operating support and meet IWP's most pressing priorities.
What are the tax benefits of making a gift to IWP?
The Institute of World Politics, under IRS law, qualifies as a charitable and tax-exempt organization. If you make a charitable gift to IWP, you can take an income tax deduction.
Can I make a gift in installments?
Yes, you can set this up by mail, or you can contact Tricia Lloyd at lloyd@iwp.edu to make a recurring gift.
Please also consider joining IWP's 1947 Club by pledging a minimum of $100 a month to support student scholarships.
Does IWP accept matching gifts?
Yes.
Many companies sponsor matching gift programs and will match donations made by their employees or spouses to qualified institutions. Some companies will double or even triple the match amount.
Contact the Human Resources department at your workplace to see if they participate in a matching gift program. If they do, let the HR department know and they will give you the necessary paperwork to complete. Follow the procedure according to the policy at your workplace and send in the form, as well as your gift, to:
The Institute of World Politics
Office of Institutional Advancement
1521 16th Street NW
Washington, DC 20036
