IWP welcomes new Executive Vice President Douglas C. Mills The Institute of World Politics is pleased to announce the hiring of a new Executive Vice President, Douglas C. Mills. "We are thrilled that Doug Mills has joined our team", said Dr. John Lenczowski, President and Founder. "IWP is undergoing substantial growth to meet the leadership needs of America's national security institutions. Doug brings a wealth of experience in administration, financial management, and institutional advancement which will be instrumental to our success. He has a distinguished career, having contributed to the strategic growth and objectives of several organizations."
Future Intel Officer: Joe Humphrey, Class of 2013 IWP student Joe Humphrey found that some of the concepts the classes he had started taking at IWP were helpful at his internship at the Senate Republican Policy Committee, especially when he became involved in the approval process of Michael McFaul for the post of the U.S. ambassador to Russia.
IWP welcomes Dr. Sebastian Gorka to the faculty IWP is pleased to welcome Dr. Sebastian Gorka as a new adjunct faculty member this spring. Dr. Gorka, a longtime friend and former guest lecturer at the Institute, is teaching a new class entitled "Al-Qaeda's Enemy Threat Doctrine" this semester.
IWP offers new course on The Geopolitics of the Iranian Plateau and South Asia This course, taught by Professor Douglas E. Streusand, covers the most critical and dynamic region in the contemporary world. It analyzes three states that pose major policy challenges for the United States: Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, and one rising power that will have a central role in world affairs for the next century and beyond, India.
Message from the Student Governing Council "We, the student body of the Institute of World Politics, in order best to promote the interests and opinions of the student body on all matters that affect our lives, academically and professionally, to promote projects beneficial to the students, and to consider matters of policy and implementation, do hereby establish the Student Government Association."
