Meet an IWP alum and Director of Security Operations at DoD
Cyber-security is among today's most critical national security issues. Fortunately for the United States, cyber-security is precisely where the passion and talents of IWP alumnus Robert Jones* rest. His accomplishments at the Department of Defense have led to official recognition by the Department for his "patriotic attitude and eagerness to ensure that his abilities are fully leveraged for the greatest possible good of the nation."
IWP launches new 1947 Club
In order to raise funds for student scholarships, IWP has recently launched its 1947 Club, and we hope that you will consider becoming a charter member. This Club is named for the National Security Act of 1947, which comprehensively reorganized the U.S. armed forces, intelligence, and foreign policy apparatus. It also established the Central Intelligence Agency.
IWP announces establishment of the Center for the Study of Culture and Security
IWP is proud to announce the establishment of the IWP Center for the Study of Culture and Security, under the direction of Dr. Juliana Geran Pilon. The Center stands witness to IWP's continuing commitment to the principle that the pursuit of peace and security cannot be separated from an understanding of our own culture and that of others; from the values that define who we are and what matters to us; and the values that motivate other international actors.
IWP announces new Academic Dean
IWP President John Lenczowski is pleased to announce a changing of the guard in the office of the Institute's Academic Dean. Dr. Chodakiewicz will be stepping down after five years of service in this job, and IWP's longtime Adjunct Professor, Dr. Charles Smith, has been appointed as the new Dean.
