'Christianity and Statecraft' subject of Weigel lecture

Author George Weigel delivered a lecture on Christianity and Statecraft to Professor Joshua Muravchik's class on Ideas and Values in International Politics.

A Senior Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, Weigel is one of the nation's leading expert commentators on the issue of religion in public life.

He authored or edited more than fifteen books, including Witness to Hope, the internationally acclaimed biography of Pope John Paul II (HarperCollins, 1999), Tranquillitas Ordinis: The Present Failure and Future Promise of American Catholic Thought on War and Peace (Oxford, 1987), and The Final Revolution: The Resistance Church and the Collapse of Communism (Oxford, 1992).
