Brian Kelley

Retired CIA Operations Officer; retired USAF officer; former Director of Training and Public Affairs Officer, Office of the National Counterintelligence Executive

Professional Experience


Brian Kelley served as Director of Community Counterintelligence Training at the National Counterintelligence Center (NACIC) during a 22-year career in CIA counterintelligence.  Prior to his CIA career, Professor Kelley served as Director of CI Training, U.S. Air Force (USAF) Office of Special Investigations, during a 20-year career in USAF counterintelligence.

Upon his retirement from the Central Intelligence Agency, Professor Kelley was awarded the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal.  To read more about his retirement ceremony, please click here.

Professor Kelley is a guest lecturer in courses taught throughout the U.S. counterintelligence community (FBI, CIA, DIA, DoD, NRO, NSA, etc.) as well as at the Joint Military Intelligence College.
