Counterintelligence applications to law enforcement

"Few intelligence professionals have any real understanding" of counterintelligence, and as such they tend to disregard and even denigrate the discipline - endangering the security of the United States.

That's how Professor Brian Kelley sees it in his article, "Counterintelligence Applications to Law Enforcement," published in the July-August 2007 issue of Crime & Justice International. And Kelley should know: He has more than 40 years' experience as an active practitioner, working every facet of domestic and overseas counterintelligence.

IWP.edu contains a pdf of Kelley's article, which provides a fine description of the history, role and function of counterintelligence. (See "PDF" icon at top right.)
