Derrick Dortch interviews experts on the Middle East and Mexican drug war

On the July 19 edition of "Fed Access" for Federal News Radio, host Derrick Dortch, Director of Career Services at IWP, discussed international issues with Jacob Shapiro and Fred Burton, representatives from Stratfor, a geopolitical intelligence organization.

In this segment, Mr. Shapiro, a Middle East expert, discussed the military takeover of the Egyptian government and how political turmoil can impact U.S. foreign policy in that region.

In the second half of the program, Mr. Burton, Stratfor's Vice President for Intelligence, discussed U.S. efforts to stop the flow of drugs coming in from Mexico.

Mr. Dortch is the career services professional at IWP. Not only a student advisor, Derrick is a career expert for The Washington Post (where he writes articles and hosts a monthly "Live Online" show.
