Former IWP Army Senior Fellow discusses the role of the U.S. in the Middle East

Parameters, the quarterly senior professional journal of the U.S. Army War College, recently published an article by 2011-12 IWP Army Senior Fellow COL Mike Eastman entitled "American Landpower and the Middle East of 2030."
The article discusses the role of American land forces in the Middle East over the next twenty years, and includes considerations of our national interest, threats to our interests, and purposes for which the use of ground forces will be necessary. Some of the research for this article was conducted during COL Eastman's time at IWP as an Army War College Fellow.
