Franciscan Mission Service honors Amb. Thomas Melady

Ambassador Thomas Melady and his wife, Dr. Margaret Melady, were the recipients of the Franciscan Mission Service's Seventh Anselm Moons Award on Friday, March 16, 2012.
This award is given to people for their lifelong commitment to building bridges of peace and reconciliation between cultures, races, and governments. The award was presented to the Meladys at the World Care Benefit and Celebration, which included notable speeches from Cardinal Donald Wuerl and Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, and was attended by several friends and colleagues of Amb. Melady from IWP.
The event was a great tribute to the Meladys for their extraordinary work, and The Institute of World Politics is proud to recognize their achievements.
