IWP class travels to Gettysburg

On Saturday, April 21, students from the American Founding Priniciples and Foreign Policy class joined Prof. Charles Smith on a tour of Gettysburg National Military Park. This tour, which Prof. Smith uses to demonstrate strategy and leadership during the Battle of Gettysburg (July 1-3, 1863), is a regular part of the American Founding Principles course. The day concluded at the National Cemetery, where Prof. Smith recited and discussed Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, given on November 19, 1863.
