IWP mourns the passing of Judge William P. Clark

August 12, 2013  |  PRESS RELEASES

Dear Friends,

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Judge Bill Clark on Saturday morning.

IWP had the privilege of awarding Judge Clark its Doctor of Laws Honoris Causa last February. Many of us in the IWP family had the privilege of knowing and working with Judge Clark who served then Governor Ronald Reagan on the California Supreme Court and President Ronald Reagan as National Security Advisor and Secretary of the Interior.

As National Security Advisor, Judge Clark played an important role in developing the policies that resulted in the downfall of the Soviet Union. He was important in forging a close relationship between the United States and the Late Blessed John Paul II.

For the IWP family, he was a friend.

Sincerely,

Owen T Smith
