FlagIn a recent article in the Washington Free Beacon, IWP president John Lenczowski is quoted on the public diplomacy implications of the International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB)'s proposal to slash the budget of the Voice of America.

As a result of these budget cuts, the Voice of America may have to eliminate all of its Persian-language editorial broadcasts to Iran.

In the article, Dr. Lenczowski comments: "It is insane. Here we are trying to figure out what to do to prevent Iran from going nuclear, and the single most effective thing we can do is to encourage dissident forces within Iran to bring about regime change internally."
