Reagan-era Attorney General hosts movie night at IWP

Hon. Ed Meese, Dr. John Lenczowski, Mrs. Ursula MeeseOn Friday, March 11, 2011, Hon. Edwin Meese III, 75th Attorney General of the United States and chief advisor to President Reagan, hosted a screening of In the Face of Evil: Reagan's War in Word and Deed at IWP. 

Based on Peter Schweizer's acclaimed bestseller, Reagan's War, the 2004 feature-length documentary film chronicles the brutal conflict between totalitarianism and freedom as seen through Ronald Reagan's forty-year confrontation with Communism.  

Mr. Meese, who was close to President Reagan and personally involved in waging the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union, introduced the film, and shared some of his personal insights.

Timothy J. Watkins, producer of the film, and President and CEO, Renegade Communications, participated in a panel with Mr. Meese following the screening.
