Homeland Security
Not yet offered. This course focuses on the offensive intelligence and counterintelligence aspects of homeland security. It integrates those aspects with the four central missions of the Department of Homeland Security: domestic security, emergency preparedness, technology policy, and intelligence for policymakers. It expands on the conventional concepts of homeland security to include study of how the U.S. dealt historically with internal security, and to apply un-learned lessons and forgotten precedents to new realities. The course is designed to help students develop critical analytic skills in evaluating cutting edge public policy questions.
