The Institute awards to qualified U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents a limited number of competitive scholarships that cover up to $5,000 off tuition per semester.

Recipients of this scholarship must be enrolled in at least eight credit hours per semester. These scholarships are awarded according to the following criteria: financial need; academic qualifications; a Character Recommendation; and an essay. The Character Recommendation form is located in the application packet. Returning students must have received at least a 3.67 GPA during the previous academic year in order to qualify. Students receiving the scholarship for both the fall and spring semesters must receive at least a 3.67 GPA in the fall semester in order to maintain financial aid for the spring semester.

Preference for these scholarships is given to M.A. candidates, though certificate students may also be considered depending on availability of scholarship funds.
