Building a foundation for future leaders
Named for the National Security Act of 1947, which comprehensively reorganized the U.S. armed forces, intelligence, and foreign policy apparatus, the 1947 Club enables friends of IWP to support the education of future statesmen by pledging monthly support to a special scholarship fund. Members of the 1947 Club pledge to support these Institute scholarships with donations of $1,200 or more per year, or $100 per month. Encourage your friends to join!
Benefits for 1947 Club members
- Annual private luncheon with IWP President and special guest speaker
- Priority seating at IWP's annual gala (for gala ticket buyers)
- Recognition on the IWP website
- Reserved seat at IWP Commencement
- Complimentary copy of IWP's newsletter The American Statesman

The Institute recognizes that the success of its mission also depends on increasing our ranks of supporters. Please consider joining the 1947 Club's Operation Rollback by challenging your friends and family to join you and match your gift - whether it is $1,200 per year, $600 per year, or $100 per year.

I am honored to join the 1947 Club. I know of no other Institute that combines exceptional instruction and understanding of statecraft, national security, and foreign policy, but also shows their interaction. In addition, it investigates all the instruments of power and, most importantly, how to use these instruments ethically. I feel privileged to help this amazing graduate school.

The 1947 Club is a wonderful concept. I had a great time with my fellow students, and I'd like to support them as they strive for positions in leadership and work to put the principles that they learn at IWP into action.
