National Security and International Affairs Internships and Fellowships in Washington, D.C.
The Institute of World Politics is one of the few graduate schools that offers internships and fellowships designed specifically to prepare you for a career in national security and statecraft.
Interns conduct research with IWP scholar-practitioners and are able to explore career options in national security and international affairs. Based in the heart of Washington, D.C., interns have the opportunity to network with top policymakers and government officials, including those on IWP’s faculty, and to audit a graduate-level course at the Institute.
American Statecraft Fellowship
A small cohort of undergraduate students will be invited to participate in a 10-week seminar that will meet one evening a week during the summer. During these weekly seminar meetings at IWP’s campus, American Statecraft Fellows will learn about, and discuss, the how as well as the why of statecraft and strategy with IWP’s own faculty.
