The Adam Bak Family Foundation has enabled The Kosciuszko Chair to offer scholarships to qualified Polish-American students who are interested in studying Central and Eastern Europe, including the successor states to the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Poland in particular but also other nations in the post-Soviet and/or European Union sphere. The KC scholarships are for one semester with a possibility of renewal. The scholarships are available for spring, summer, and fall semesters. They cover tuition, partly or fully.  If part of tuition is covered, a modest living stipend may also be offered. In addition to maintaining perfect academic standing, the scholarship holder is expected to participate in various projects of the Kosciuszko Chair. All activities are in conjunction with the IWP internship program, which requires separate enrollment.

Anyone interested can submit his resume, statement of purpose, and two letters of recommendation to The Kosciuszko Chair at the Institute of World Politics, 1521 16th St, NW, Washington, DC 20036.
