“Our foundation’s driving mission is to create opportunities for our next generation of leaders – opportunities to advance their education, to become engaged citizens, and to be consequential in our society.”
-Louis DeJoy

The Louis DeJoy and Aldona Z. Woś Family Foundation Scholarship was established in 2017 thanks to a $1 million grant from the Louis DeJoy and Aldona Z. Woś Family Foundation. The Foundation grant is the result of the extraordinary generosity of Louis DeJoy and Aldona Woś of North Carolina. Ambassador Woś serves on IWP’s Board of Trustees.
The scholarship supports tuition costs of exceptional students who demonstrate financial need.
The scholarship provides up to full tuition per semester to M.A. applicants, as decided by the IWP Scholarship Committee, comprised of full-time IWP faculty members. Recipients of this scholarship must be enrolled in at least ten credit hours per semester and be recent college graduates who demonstrate significant academic, professional, or personal achievement, as well as a history of leadership or potential for leadership, an overall potential to succeed in IWP’s rigorous course of study, and an appreciation of the IWP mission.
Recipients are expected to succeed academically, be active members of the IWP community, and be dedicated to the spirit of service and civic duty.
