This Week: Zbigniew Brzezinski, Arab Ambassadors

March 3:  Scholar Hillel Fradkin delivers a lecture on “Islam in World Politics” to students in Professor Joshua Muravchik’s Ideas and Values in International Politics class. Dr. Fradkin is President of the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, where he directs a program on Islam & American Democracy.

March 3: Former National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski visits the Institute for a mid-day discussion on Central European issues.

February 26: The Ambassadors of Bahrain, LebanonMorocco, Sudan and Tunisia discuss religious freedom and public diplomacy issues with IWP Professor J. Michael Waller and five American religious and policy experts at a small closed-door event in the U.S. Capitol.

February 24: Ross Munro, former Beijing bureau chief for Time magazine and an IWP adjunct professor, delivers a mid-day lecture on Chinese global strategy.

February 23: Col. Wolfgang Schober, Austrian Assistant Minister of Defense for Public Affairs, visits IWP to discuss U.S. military public affairs and information operations. The visit is organized by the American Foreign Policy Council.

February 20: Dr. Philip Du Toit, a leading South African farmer and attorney, describes government land seizures and warns of their long-term effects on South Africa’s economy and social stability.

February 19: Polish Ambassador Przemyslaw Grudzinski has lunch at IWP to talk about Poland’s role as a U.S. partner and NATO ally in international security affairs.
