A delegation of British policymakers, including journalists, policy leaders and members of parliament, visited the Institute of World Politics on June 29 for a discussion of the European Union and Anglo-American security.
The delegation inlcuded David Heathcoat-Amory, a frontbench Member of Parliament; and Lord Pearson of Rannoch. Both are strong opponents of transferring British sovereignty to a centralized European Union, and equally strong proponents of a robust trans-Atlantic security relationship with the United States.
