Upcoming IWP Happy Hour & Movie Night

You’re Invited:
IWP intelligence professor, Dr. David Thomas, will host a screening of “Enemy of the State” for the next IWP Happy Hour and Movie Night on Friday, July 14, 2006.  The Happy Hour begins at 6:00 pm and the movie’s showtime is at 7:00 pm.

“Enemy of the State,” a 1998 thriller, contains themes of national security and privacy — themes which grab more media now than at any time since the movie’s release.  Professor Thomas will explain the relevance of the movie to today’s debate and offer historical perspectives on the controversy surrounding surveillance, eavesdropping and other counterintelligence measures.

At the film’s conclusion, Professor Thomas will entertain your questions and comments.

Food, beverages and good conversation will be on-hand for students, alumni, friends and family.  If you can attend, please indicate by responding at this form.  Bring your appetite and curiosity.
