IWP Trustee Ambassador Aldona Wos will be discussing “Past and Present: Estonia and U.S. Partnership” on October 23rd, 2009 at the Heritage Foundation.
Ambassador Wos served as U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Estonia from 2004-2006, and has many insights concerning relations between Estonia and the U.S., some of which she shared with IWP students, faculty, staff, and friends last April.
At the event on the 23rd, which will run from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Ambassador Sven Jürgenson (Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of the Republic of Estonia, and Ambassador to the United States from Estonia, 2000-2003) will also be speaking.
