Melady to speak on “Civility: For the Next Decade”

 On Wednesday, November 18, 2009, IWP Professor Thomas P. Melady will deliver the Faith and Politics Institute’s 2009 Capps-Emerson Memorial Lecture. He will discuss “Civility: For the Next Decade.”

Ambassador Melady is the Senior Diplomat in Residence at The Institute of World Politics. He has served as Ambassador to Burundi, Uganda, and the Vatican, as the President of Sacred Heart University, as Chairman of the Department of African and Asian Affairs, Seton Hall University, as Assistant Secretary for Post-Secondary Education, and as Senior Advisor to the UN delegation to the UN General Assembly.
