Ambassador Melady is the Senior Diplomat in Residence at The Institute of World Politics. He has served as Ambassador to Burundi, Uganda, and the Vatican, as the President of Sacred Heart University, as Chairman of the Department of African and Asian Affairs, Seton Hall University, as Assistant Secretary for Post-Secondary Education, and as Senior Advisor to the UN delegation to the UN General Assembly.
