This spring, IWP is offering a new course on “The Geopolitics of the Iranian Plateau and South Asia.”
The course, taught by Professor Douglas E. Streusand, covers the most critical and dynamic region in the contemporary world. It analyzes three states that pose major policy challenges for the United States: Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, and one rising power that will have a central role in world affairs for the next century and beyond: India. The course will provide the historical, geographical, cultural, and economic background of current events and analyze policy options in that context.
