C-SPAN: Student Lacy Rourke discusses efforts to recover MIA soldiers

Lacy Rourke, an IWP student who currently serves as the National Coordinator for The National League of POW-MIA Families, discussed the recent report on efforts to locate Missing in Action soldiers in an interview for The Washington Journal on C-SPAN.

She noted that the League is supportive of the work of the Joint Prisoners of War, Missing in Action Accounting Command, but believes they need some reorganization. She described parts of the process that go into searching for MIA soldiers, including looking at the history surrounding their disappearance, reviewing last known coordinates and weather patterns, and interviewing people who may have seen something.

Juana Summers, a defense reporter for Politico, also appeared on the segment.
