You do not come to IWP to get a job; you come to IWP to get a degree or certificate that opens the door to the career you want and love or that helps you develop skills that will prove useful in your place of work.

A career in intelligence, defense, national security, homeland security, diplomacy, foreign policy, strategic communications, international development, international business, politics and other related fields is what you want to pursue, and our goal is to help you succeed.

The Career Services Office works to help you develop and implement a Career Success Strategy that will help you: find your career passions, explore career options, find the right careers and jobs that match you, take the right classes, complete relevant research projects, develop interview-winning targeted self-marketing materials, assist in interview preparation that will win the job, and provide support and guidance in everything from getting a security clearance to salary negotiation to career success management.

Whether you are looking for your first job or planning to make the next move up in your career, make sure you use the various resources provided by Career Services to help you succeed in your career, work and life.

Make sure you contact IWP’s Director of Career Services to schedule a time to discuss your career. During the consultation, the Director will work with you to develop a Career Success Strategy and Action Plan that will assist you in making your career goals a reality.  Remember, everything is possible with the right strategy!
