This 5-week program will provide students with a working background knowledge of Hungarian and Central European affairs and an opportunity to research a regional issue of their choice. The program will be run in the educational style of a tutorial with a one-on-one instructional relationship between a professor (Danube Senior Fellow) and student with an end goal of publishing an academic article for an American or Hungarian Platform based on their research. The program will also include discussions with both Hungarian and American officials as well as cultural trips to develop the student’s cultural knowledge. Participating students will conduct research at Danube Institute and have Visiting Student status at Ludovika University of Public Service.
