The health and welfare of our students continue to be IWP’s highest priority.

We know that the COVID-19 pandemic is creating employment difficulties and personal family issues for many across the United States, including some of our students. If you are facing issues of this nature that might affect your enrollment at IWP, please let us know ASAP ( so we can work with you to identify resources to help you find a solution that eliminates or minimizes the disruption to your education at IWP.

Updates from IWP

Campus (updated March 16, 2022)

IWP reopened fully for in-person classes and resumed normal operations at both our Washington, D.C. and Reston, Virginia campuses on Monday, January 31st, 2022.

IWP public events will continue to be conducted virtually until further notice.

We will monitor the evolving Covid-19 situation closely and will advise any updates to the above reopening plan, as appropriate. In the meantime, we urge everyone to continue to follow CDC recommendations in terms of Covid-19 prevention protocols, including the recommendation to obtain a booster shot when eligible. Please note that having a booster vaccine may become a requirement at some future point.

Additional Information

On Monday, March 21, 2022, masks will be optional for all IWP students, faculty, staff, and visitors who have been fully vaccinated.  Any students, faculty, staff, and visitors who are not fully vaccinated may return to campus, but will be required to wear a mask. We will continue to implement COVID-19 mitigation measures including enhanced cleaning protocols. As always, we ask if you are experiencing symptoms or not feeling well, please stay home.
