On Tuesday, December 10, IWP Senior Vice President for Cyber Intelligence Dean Lane gave remarks on “Bringing Intelligence to Cyber Security” at the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Summit in Washington, D.C.
In his talk, Captain Lane reviewed the concept of cyber intelligence and a case study involving the CIA foiling an attempt of the Russians to steal some intellectual property.
In February 2019, Captain Lane also spoke at a CISO event, where he discussed Artificial Intelligence.
At IWP, Dean Lane spearheads the Cyber Intelligence Initiative (Ci2), a professional education program which prepares business and government leaders to utilize intelligence tools and cyber capabilities so that they can proactively protect their organizations from cyber threats.
