About the Lecture: Diplomacy (at its finest between the walls of the Embassy of Afghanistan in D.C. and at its worst where we left our allies to face horrific deaths due to their association with U.S. Forces), what happens when the State Department is in charge of a military operation, how multiple U.S. agencies are in the same country operating in silos with different directives, and how the White House and POTUS viewed their mass evacuation and deaths of American soldiers and innocent civilians as a “success.”

About the Speaker: Ms. Kelley DeConciliis serves as Chief Operating Officer at SASSI, a Woman Owned Small Business in Chantilly, VA working with the Intelligence Community. She currently serves on the Board of Advisors at the Institute of World Politics (IWP). DeConciliis served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at International Stability Operations Association (ISOA), which represents over 150 government contractors that operate in high-risk austere environments.
