Ms. Ana Trisic-Babic, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, delivered a survey of the major challenges and goals of her nation’s foreign policy to a group of IWP students, staff, and faculty on September 29, 2009.

In particular, Ms. Trisic-Babic stressed Bosnia and Herzegovina’s efforts to become full members of NATO and the European Union and explored some of the internal factors making full European Union membership difficult.  She also discussed the effects of the global economic slowdown on Bosnia and prospects for increased US-Bosnian trade.
