Dr. Inna Rogatchi is an internationally acclaimed author and political analyst. She has taught courses and written extensively about political and cultural aspects of individual and group mindsets and behaviour at the Universities of Helsinki and Turku (Finland), was a principal professor conducting a modern history and mentality seminar at the Renvall Institute (Helsinki), and was an expert at the Finnish Institute of Foreign Policies. She lectures internationally on various topics of international politics, and is the Senior Advisor on International Affairs to the European Parliament. Dr. Rogatchi is also a senior strategic advisor to a number of leading international institutions involved in risk management and conflict resolution.
Inna Rogatchi is the author of several books and many documentaries on modern history and its key phenomena, including a study of the Soviet and post-Soviet mentality, The Shattered Generation, or the Ten Commandments in the USSR; a study of modern anti-Semitism, Yellow Star in the Red Sky; a study of the post-Cold War intelligence, The Blind Mirror, and the documentary The Morning After the Cold War. Her other works examine international organized crime (Hunting the Shadow) and multi-layered corruption, terrorism, and the weapons of mass destruction. She also works on such themes as international development and processes inside the European Union (The Kremlin and the Europe in XXI century) and the processes inside the post-totalitarian societies (Beginning of Decency). Dr Rogatchi’s analysis of the security situation in Europe after 9/11, Europe, a Dangerous Place to Live, has become a widely cited work in many books and dissertations.
