International Development is a multi-disciplinary field focused on the development of a greater quality of life for humans. It encompasses foreign aid, governance, healthcare, education, poverty reduction, gender equality, disaster preparedness, infrastructure, economics, human rights, environment, stability operations, workforce economic development and issues associated with helping countries. Working in international development can mean working for a government agency, NGO or private sector company in a wide range of fields. This seminar will discuss the field of international development and the various career opportunities you can pursue.
