This lecture is part of a series on the Intermarium, organized by the Kosciuszko Chair of Polish Studies at IWP.

Ms. Krystyna Piórkowska is a graduate of the City College of New York and Columbia University. She is also a recovering Fortune 100 executive who has worked with the Museum of the Polish Military in Warsaw for five years. It was at the request of Prof. Janusz Cisek that she started researching the witnesses of the Katyn massacre, and her book English-Speaking Witnesses to Katyń: Recent Research (Warsaw: Muzeum Katyńskie and Muzeum Wojska Polskiego) was published in 2012.
