K. Ch. is a documentary on the tragic yet ultimately uplifting story of a young woman raped, impregnated, and forced to give birth to her prison guard’s child in a former-Czechoslovakian prison in 1948. Please click here for more information on the documentary.
Tomáš Bouška received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Charles University in Prague. He serves on the Board of the Czech Oral History Association and is the Founder and Chairperson of the volunteer civic organization PoliticalPrisoners.eu.
Ana Lazara Rodríguez is a former political prisoner in Communist Cuba who was a young medical student when she was arrested in 1962. She refused to give in to political intimidation, reeducation, or rehabilitation during her nineteen-year imprisonment. She is the author of Diary of a Survivor: Nineteen Years in a Cuban Women’s Prison.
Tania C. Mastrapa is the Research Professor in Cuban and Latin American Studies at IWP.
