COL Jeffery A. Carter, USA
IWP USAWC Fellow, 2013-14

Colonel Jeffery Carter holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Cameron University in Lawton, OK, a Master’s degree in Logistics Management from Florida Tech in Melbourne, FL, and a Master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College. He attended the Ordnance Officer Basic Course in 1993, the Combined Logistics Officer Advanced Course in 1997, the Combined Arms and Service Staff Course in 1997, the Logistics Executive Development Course in 2001, and the Naval Command and General Staff College in 2005.

While assigned to the Pentagon from 2007 to 2010, he served as the Executive Officer to the Army G4 Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff; as an Army Legislative Liaison in the Office of the Chief of Legislative Liaison; and as an Army Staff Officer in the Army G4 Initiative Group. He later served as the Battalion Commander for the 524th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion at Schofield Barracks, HI from 2010 to 2012; and as the Enlisted Ordnance Branch Chief at the Human Resource Command at Fort Knox, KY from 2012 to 2013.

He attended the Institute of World Politics as an Army War College Fellow from 2013 to 2014. He will command the 59th Ordnance Brigade at Ft. Lee, VA in June 2014.
