Professor of Intelligence
Gary Blankenship is an accomplished intelligence officer with over 28 years of combined U.S. government and U.S. military service.
He spent the first half of his career as a U.S. Army Combat Arms Officer and Latin America Foreign Area Officer, serving in various command, staff, and instructor positions in the United States, Germany, Korea, and Latin America.
He then served with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), first as a Directorate of Intelligence military analyst, and then as a National Clandestine Service officer, where he ultimately held senior management positions both at the CIA’s U.S. headquarters and abroad. Mr. Blankenship currently is working as the Operations Manager for the Northern Virginia-based firm, Omnis, Inc.
He holds an MA degree from Tulane University of Louisiana, a BA from St. Mary’s University of Texas, and an AA degree from Kemper Military School & College of Missouri.
