Rachael Williams

Rachael Williams is a multilingual educator, curriculum developer, and instructional designer with more than twenty-six years of experience teaching French and Spanish in K–12, higher education, military, diplomatic, and professional settings in the United States and abroad.

She specializes in developing learner-centered language programs that combine linguistic proficiency with cultural competence, helping students and professionals achieve measurable success in academic, government, and operational environments. Throughout her career, she has designed curricula, online courses, instructional materials, and proficiency assessments, while preparing learners for Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), Oral Proficiency Interviews (OPI), and other high-stakes language evaluations.

Her work has included teaching in the United States, France, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as creating specialized language training for diplomats, military personnel, and graduate students.

Prof. Williams holds a Master of Arts in French from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a Master of Business Administration from Saint Leo University, and a Bachelor of Arts in French with a minor in English from Louisiana Tech University. She also completed doctoral coursework in Francophone Studies (ABD) and maintains a Virginia PreK–12 teaching license.

Having lived on four continents and worked with learners from diverse cultural, linguistic, and religious backgrounds, she brings a global perspective to language education and intercultural communication. Her commitment to service extends beyond the classroom through volunteer work supporting military families, veterans, and anti-human trafficking initiatives, reflecting her dedication to education, cross-cultural understanding, and community engagement.
