The IWP Internship Experience: Caysen Flint

This internship has been an amazing experience. IWP has a great network that helps you find potential career opportunities and provides an outlet for discussions about topics you are passionate about. I found that I felt welcome and valued here.

There were many unique opportunities to tour amazing national security institutions, both governmental and NGO. Each location provided unique insights into the field of national security and helped me to gain a greater knowledge base and figure out what it is I want to do in my future in national security.

This internship was one of the most helpful things for my future that I have done. I loved my colleagues and my supervisors. It was a community where help was always given freely and given well. I will always cherish my time here at The Institute of World Politics. I am very grateful for the opportunity that IWP presented, and it will remain an important part of my path to success in national security.
