Virginia Delegate Nick Rush recently initiated a resolution in the Virginia General Assembly to honor General Casimir Pulaski in Virginia annually on October 11. Del. Nick Freitas, who recently defended the Second Amendment in the Virginia General Assembly, is also a passionate promoter of this resolution.
The Kosciuszko Chair of Polish Studies is delighted that Delegates Rush and Freitas are so involved in the promotion of Poland’s heroes in Virginia. We are glad that General Pulaski’s contribution to American independence is being recognized and appreciated. We are looking forward to celebrating first official Kosciuszko Day in Virginia.
