Donald V. Smith joins IWP Board of Trustees

Donald V. SmithDonald V. Smith, former Senior Managing Director of Houlihan Lokey, has joined IWP's Board of Trustees.

"Don has been a friend and supporter of IWP for many years," said IWP founder and president John Lenczowski. "As a longtime member of Business Executives for National Security, he has educated himself about so many of the issues we address. We are grateful that he decided that our mission deserved his even more intensive involvement."

After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy and serving over five years as a Naval Officer, he graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with an M.B.A. Subsequently, he joined Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Division, where he ran its Valuations Group and formed its Corporate Restructuring Group. In his last 20 years as an investment banker at Houlihan Lokey, he served on the Board of Directors, ran the New York office and its various product groups, and led numerous major assignments, advising companies, boards, and creditor groups.

Mr. Smith has served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards. He currently serves on the boards of CSG Systems International and Business Executives for National Security and as President of the Union League Clubhouse Foundation.
