Dr. Marek Chodakiewicz comments on Nord Stream 2

IWP professor Dr. Marek Chodakiewicz was quoted extensively in an article entitled "Nord Stream 2: Russia's Geopolitical Trap" by Pawel Rybacki in Harvard Political Review.

The article discusses the geopolitical implications of the natural-gas pipeline Nord Stream 2, which runs from Russia to Germany and is scheduled for completion in 2019. Dr. Chodakiewicz commented on the fact that Germany is not concerned about the fact that the pipeline marginalizes the role of Ukraine, and that Germany is creating a "Bismarckian Berlin-Moscow axis" via the pipeline. He recommended that the United States promote the concept of an Intermarium alliance among Central and Eastern European countries.
