Meese calls IWP a ‘model of graduate study’

Former US Attorney General Edwin Meese, one of the influential members of President Ronald Reagan’s inner circle and a central figure in the successful US strategy to end the Cold War, praised the Institute of World Politics as a “model” for rebuilding the country’s national security education system.

In an address to IWP’s 2006 graduating class, Meese commended IWP for its “program, purpose and quality,” saying that the Institute makes “a significant contribution to national security while it stands as a model of graduate study for this country.”
