On Friday, September 14, 2012, Tania Mastrapa, IWP Research Professor in Cuban and Latin American Studies, sponsored an event on “The Women Who Survived Communist Prisons.” The film K.Ch. was shown, and remarks were made by Tomás Bouska, Ph.D., Founder and Chairperson of PoliticalPrisoners.eu, Ana Lazara Rodríguez, author of Diary of a Survivor: Nineteen Years in a Cuban Women’s Prison, and Dr. Mastrapa.
