IWP launches new partnership for seminar on economics and the Constitution

IRC LogoThis summer, The Institute of World Politics will partner with The Institute for Responsible Citizenship to offer IRC scholars the Bradley Seminar on Constitutional and Economic Principles, taught by Dr. William B. Allen, Professor Emeritus at Michigan State University and Dean Emeritus of the James Madison College.

The twelve students taking the course this summer will be participants in The Institute for Responsible Citizenship’s program which prepares high-achieving African American men for successful careers in various fields and involves seminars, internships, and intensive mentoring.  Among IRC’s 150 alumni are a Rhodes Scholar, several Rhodes finalists, Truman Scholars, a Luce Scholar, a Fulbright Scholar, and the recipients of many other honors and awards.

“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to provide education to this extraordinarily promising community of young leaders, and to offer them new possibilities and opportunities to contribute to our national life,” says IWP president John Lenczowski.

Students in this seminar will receive transferrable credit for the course IWP 665.
