FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
NOAH RUDOLPH JOINS IWP AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Washington, D.C., July 24, 2013 – The Institute of World Politics is pleased to welcome Noah C. Rudolph as its new Executive Vice President.
“We are delighted to have Noah join our team,” comments John Lenczowski, Founder and President of IWP. “With his knowledge of the national security field, his experience in business, and his dedication to the service of our country, Noah is poised to help bring our school to the next level.”
In his new role, Mr. Rudolph will be directly responsible for the business functions of the Institute, including management of the administrative staff, and will work closely with the Academic Dean to support the academic mission.
Mr. Rudolph began his career as an officer in the United States Marine Corps where he held both staff and platoon leadership positions in the ground intelligence field. Serving from 1993 to 1997, Mr. Rudolph’s primary operational impact was in the deployment of unattended ground sensors along the U.S./Mexican border in support of counter-narcotics operations.
Upon completion of his military service, Mr. Rudolph embarked upon a career in business focused on finance and operations. His attendance at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business accelerated his development and led to positions with several asset management firms and Fortune 500 companies.
As it did for many of his peers, the terrorist events of September 11, 2001 influenced Mr. Rudolph to reevaluate his career objectives. In 2002, he attended the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia in advance of several years as a Special Agent focused on international terrorism issues at the FBI’s Washington Field Office. Since his departure from the FBI in 2005, Mr. Rudolph has been a consultant to the Office of Naval Intelligence, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense and other Intelligence Community clients.
Most recently, Mr. Rudolph served as the CFO of Mav6, a defense contractor recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the 500 fastest growing companies in the U.S. for both 2011 and 2012. Although the program was discontinued in 2012, Mav6 was under contract to develop an unmanned aerial vehicle that was recognized by Popular Science as a “Best of What’s New” award winner in 2011.
Mr. Rudolph earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University where he majored in politics and played both football and rugby. He and his wife, Brenda, have three children and live in Northern Virginia.
