Research fellow David Archibald takes an Arctic expedition

The environment is of crucial importance to long-term policy planning. Few understand this issue better than our Visiting Fellow in Strategic Energy Policy, Mr. David Archibald.  As a Perth-based Australian scientist, Mr. Archibald works in the fields of oil exploration, medical research, climate science and energy.

His research in climate has recently taken him to the Arctic weather station in the Svalbard Archipelago, the northernmost part of Norway. His impression from this expedition-and, of course, his conclusions about global cooling-are available on the wattsupwiththat.com blog, where he is a guest author.
