Jennifer Giglio joins IWP as Director of the Chancellor’s Council

Jennifer GiglioThe Institute of World Politics is pleased to announce the addition of Jennifer Giglio to its Institutional Advancement team.  Ms. Giglio will serve as the Director of the Chancellor’s Council and brings experience in program development, fundraising, marketing, grant development, and volunteer management to her role at IWP.

She has formerly served as a government relations consultant with WAGsolutions, LLC. While there, she worked with client associations on legislative and regulatory developments across multiple sectors. 

Previously, she spent several years as Executive and Board Liaison for United Service Organizations, where she worked closely with the senior staff to execute the organization’s mission.  In that role, she assisted in raising approximately $50 million to build Warrior and Family centers at both Ft. Belvoir, VA and Walter Reed, MD. Other achievements while employed there include recruitment and education of new board members, as well as participating in the annual USO Gala execution team.

Ms. Giglio has also worked as a Public Affairs and Legislative Assistant in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and as Assistant to the Chairman and Chief of Staff of the House Armed Services Committee. 

She currently serves as a member on the Board of Directors of Defending the Blue Line and Defending the Base Line, which allow the children of military children to participate in the game of hockey and baseball, by providing free equipment, registration for camps, and other special events.

Ms. Giglio comments: “I am thrilled to join IWP as it launches its newest donor recognition society, the Chancellor’s Council.  I hope to advance the organization’s goals by engaging with new financial supporters and also strengthening the bonds that already exist with our current donor base.”
